The Ava Lions Club Costume Contest is moving to the city park!
Join the Halloween Costume Contest October 31, 2026 at 5:00PM
The Ava Lions Club has sponsored a Halloween costume contest for over 80 years. Traditionally, the contest was held on October 31 at the city Square in the Gazebo.
In 2025, the city of Ava invited the community to the park for the kids’ Halloween "trick or treats". This will become an annual event, and the Ava Lions Club has been invited to move the costume contest to the park. The invitation to participate in the “Trail of Treats” was accepted and on Saturday, October 31 the costume contest will begin at 5 pm in the city park. Stay tuned for more information.
